Get your family on the map in three steps

  1. Install NextLocator

    Sign in with your phone number, your Google account or your Apple ID.

  2. Create your family circle

    Give the circle a name, then save the places that matter, like home, school and the office.

  3. Invite your family

    Share the circle's 6-character invite code or its QR code. Everyone joins from their own phone.

Only your circle can see where you are

  • People outside your circle, including other NextLocator users, can't see your location.
  • Circle admins decide who joins, and can remove a member at any time.
  • Your location travels over encrypted HTTPS connections.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and its data whenever you want.

What is NextLocator?

NextLocator is a family locator app for Android and iPhone. Family members join a private circle to share live location, get alerts when someone arrives at or leaves a saved place, and send an SOS with their location.

How does NextLocator share my location?

Your phone sends its location to NextLocator while you are in a circle, and the other members of that circle see it on a live map. It updates several times a minute while you are moving and much less often while you stay in one place.

Who can see my location?

Only the members of your circle. People outside the circle, including other NextLocator users, cannot see where you are. Circle admins decide who joins and can remove members.

Does NextLocator drain my phone's battery?

NextLocator is designed to use little battery. It changes how often it checks your location depending on whether you are still, walking or in a vehicle, so a phone resting in one place uses far less power than one on the move.

What happens when I press SOS?

Everyone in your circle immediately gets an SOS alert with your exact location. NextLocator is not an emergency service, so in an emergency also call your local emergency number, which is 999 in Bangladesh.

Is NextLocator free?

Yes. NextLocator has a free plan. Paid plans add more circle members, more saved places and a longer location history.

When can I download NextLocator?

NextLocator is coming soon to Google Play for Android and to the App Store for iPhone.

How do I delete my NextLocator account?

Send a deletion request from the Delete account page. We confirm that the account is yours, then delete it and its data.
